Through paintings, sculptures and drawings, over 20.000 artworks and six museums tell our history, from the 15th to the 21st century. Entrance is included in Brussels museum card. The Museum was founded in 1801 by Napoleon Bonaparte, but it was in 1830, with Belgian independence, that it really became a major institution.
