Early game I seem to do fine but never well enough to secure a kill and as soon as level 6 hits, well you all know how good your ult is. Needless to say every time im playing vlad against a malz I die under tower at lvl 6., Tips for new Vlad players (prompted by recent post) Comment for this thread got too long so I decided to just make it a post lol. 1) Watch a few games of elite500, though stick with meta vlad at first and only consider gigalords after getting used to the champion. 2) E->W combo is bread and butter but you don't always want to use it., Try to play aggressive and push to Vlad's tower. From there, abuse him every time he walks up for CS. Very basic. Play smart, keep your poke appropriately going, help your team and don't play a scaling game vs Vlad. If your mental is that the champion is broken and their is no good counterplay, then congrats, you are never winning the lane. Vladimir hates lanes that can push him in all game.
